Senior Data Engineer
Salary: €70,000-90,000

Fully remote

My client, a fast-growing software company, are expanding their data engineering team and looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can take ownership of building and optimizing their Azure-based data infrastructure. You will architect, build and maintain data pipelines using Azure whilst designing and implementing ETL/ELT solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Azure’s data ecosystem, including services like Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics and Databricks
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (or PySpark).
• Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Terraform, CI/CD) and version control.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally as well as engage with stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Data warehousing experience using Snowflake
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and consumption.
• Exposure to ML/AI workflows or data science tooling within Azure.
